Hello there d2jsp, I am looking for those who work in food service and hospitality to describe their jobs. Do you work in a restaurant? What type of restaurant is it, what is the menu like and how is the quality of the food? What position do you currently hold? Thank you guys and girls.

What is your position there? Do you cook/prepare food?

I work in a deli.

I put together salads, potato salads, specialty trays, sandwiches, etc.
We also operate a rotissery oven and a friar

I'd say I have a good knowledge of deli related things

i kind of want to get a deli job at grocery store til i can find a finance job

idea of job: last night we had 2 weddings and some other event, all 3 were 3 course meals (app, main, desert) and later on I cut both wedding cakes

i work as a kitchen manager in a family owned italian pizzeria/ eatery

basic item is pizza with chicken, meatball, eggplant parm heros/ dinner. usual stuff you can get from your local pizzeria

actually my second week as kitchen manager used to just cook for the place, which i still do.
