Try making fajitas or beef stroganoff with the beef round steak. Shepard's Pie with the ground beef as well as taco's.

Well, it's not a shepard's pie if you use beef now, is it? Although I've tried it once and it's alright...

How about beef wellington?

Beef:
Used in:
Lasagna, Sandwiches, Shepperd's pie, tacos, fajitas, meatsauce,
Any kind of sauce for pastas, put some sliced beef on it, you can add thin sliced beef on a salad, you can have a stir fry with beef, you can have some nice asian noodle soup with nice roasted beef, you could also use some of it to make smoked meat :)
I used this website to build my own smoker: works wonders!!

and you can always google beef based recipes! :)

wanna try a thai beef salad?

salad greens of your preference, i like red leaf for asian dishes. spring mix type would work well too.

would u be interested in trying a slow cooker korean recipe? it would involve going out and buying a few ingredients. lmk

If you would be willing to put some time into it, are allowed to make a fire in your area, and be willing to potentially waste about a lb of beef if you burn it to much, you and your kids could make some old style camp fire beef :D

You would need some clean rocks that are somewhat flat (do not get them from a river bed, when heated the moisture in them turns to steam, expands, and can make the rocks explode. If you must get them near a river, make sure it is above the banks of the river). You should take the hose pipe and a cheap plastic / steel bristled brush. Clean the dirt off the rocks pretty good. Build a camp fire around the rocks and keep it going for about 4 hours. After 4 hours is up, the stones should be almost red hot, let the fire die down and use a relatively clean garden hoe to pull the stones aside. I trust you to be smart enough to not have to tell you they are hot, and will be for some time.

While your fire has been going, marinate your beef (useing 1 inch wide 4 inch long strips should work pretty good) in what ever ya want.

Once you pull your rocks out , take bacon grease and drop about 2 table spoons worth on each stone (there is a very good chance this could flare up. I have only seen it done once) to make it to where the steak wont stick. Use metal tongs and put your meat on the stones. I dont remember how long you have to cook it.

No gaurantees with this, it's just an idea you could try. If you do, best of luck to you and let me know how it works out!

P.S. if you wanna go really old style use only freshly cracked pepper, course salt , and maby a little bit of some herbs to flavor the meat :D
