quelques quotes que j'aime beaucoup de A Song Of Ice and Fire

Quote (Jorah Mormont)
Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honorably. And Rhaegardied.

Quote
"You shot me," he said incredulously, his eyes glassy with shock.
"You always were quick to grasp a situation, my lord"

Quote
"Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?"- Bran Stark
"That is the only time a man can be brave" - Eddard Stark

Quote (Tyrion Lannister)
"I'd be a much more religious man if i could pray with my cock."

Quote (Oath of the Night's Watch)
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crown and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realm of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come

Quote (Jaime Lannister @ to Tyrion Lannister)

"...Cersei will send men after you, I have no doubt. You might do well to take another name."

"Another name? Oh, certainly. And when the Faceless Men come to kill me, I'll say, 'No, you have the wrong man, I'm a different dwarf with a hideous facial scar.'"

"I don't know who my mother was,"
"Some woman, no doubt. Most of them are."

"There is no creature on earth half so terrifying as a truly just man."

The dead are likely dull fellows, full of tedious complaints - 'the ground's too cold, my gravestone should be larger, why does HE get more worms than I do...'"

"Who knows more of gods than I?
Horse gods and fire gods, gods made of gold with gemstone eyes, gods carved of cedar wood, gods chiseled into mountains, gods of empty air... I know them all. I have seen their peoples garland them with flowers, and shed the blood of goats and bulls and children in their names. And I have heard the prayers, in half a hundred tongues. Cure my withered leg, make the maiden love me, grant me a healthy son. Save me, succor me, make me wealthy . . .protect me! Protect me from mine enemies, protect me from the darkness, protect me from the crabs inside my belly, from the horselords, from the slavers, from the sellswords at my door. Protect me from the Silence ."
He laughed. "Godless? Why, Aeron, I am the godliest man ever to raise sail! You serve one god, Damphair, but I have served ten thousand. From Ib to Asshai, when men see my sails, they pray."

Ser Cleos looked like a weasel, fought like a goose , and had the courage of an especially brave ewe!

Cersei: (her face bruising from Robert's blow) "I shall wear this as a badge of honor."
Robert Baratheon: "Wear it in silence or I'll honor you again."

Eddard Stark: "If you would take a man's life, you owe it to him to look him into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die."

Tyrion: "I am sorry for your loss as well, Joffrey."
King Joffrey: "What loss?"
Tyrion: "Your royal father? A large fierce man with a black beard; you'll recall him if you try. He was king before you."

Etc :)

Oui, quand j'en ai la possibilité je préfère lire les livres dans la langue de l'auteur.
D'ailleurs je suis pas sûr que ce livre soit disponible en Français alors bon :P
