Can someone tell me what this party is about? I know that it's euro-sceptic, but are they also racist like for example NSDAP? I'm asking, because i'm wondering if 25% of french people are xenophobic.

it's actually not openly a racist party, at least much less than some years ago, but they have pretty strong nationalist ideas

french people are mostly not xenophobic, we're just fed up with our fucked up politics right now, it's rather a defiance vote than a conviction vote

well most of the FN's leaders are racist but for some years they have been trying to hide it to appear more trustable and acceptable as a party

Fuck off our subforum. This is french subforum if you aint no french we dont like u. The entire world should be french. If it was it wouldnt be as shit as it is right now. No fatties because we would eat omelette du fromage all day and some baguette le pain. No wars because we have no army or balls to fight anyway.

There was 60% abstention / 40% participation -> 4 french out of ten voted
among those 25% voted FN ->that's 1/4 of 4/10
1x4 = 4 ; 4x10= 40 -> 4/40 voted FN -> that's 1/10

1 french out of 10 voted FN -> that is 10% xenophobic, not 25%.

Some of them don't accept beeing called racist, they think it's normal to hate on strangers when strangers mess with their country
(as for me, no doubt 25% of french are xenophobic, even in Master/PhD where ppl are usually very tolerant, you can find a lot of racist sentences towards muslims/arabs/gays)
