He guys,
Would anyone have a nice guide to build a classic rushing sorc ? I think ice/fire hydbrid to deal with most immunes ?

full iratha's, shard, 3pd shield
20 orb
15-20 cm
15-20 tele
1-10 fire wall
1 nova
1 armor
rest ice bolt

that's a small overview, i'd recommend high teleport so you can easily do a rush with just a full inv of mana pots - otherwise you'll be refilling every quest
mainly cold damage and a few points in firewall will do the job 99% of the time, i put 1 point in nova for rare situations with ci/fi

This guy basically explained everything.
Im also curious if some kind of hybrid would now work in 2.4, thinking of orb+hydra sor. Some investment both into hydra and fire mastery as well as forb and cold mastery. But this might as well turn out to be crap on classic

i have tested orb+hydra in classic but i find hydra not a good secondary attack because it's doesn't target immunes properly - firewall is faster, more damage and requires less skill points to be effective too
i wish it was otherwise

sadly, hydra is pretty sub par without at least 10 extra skills, which is impossible to get on classic.

Nova, Fireball and Firewall are basically your only options as a hybrid skill. Fireball is my go to choice myself.

Blizzard with a Nova secondary is pretty good as well.

either orb or blizzard, shard, twitch, full irathas, ward or 3x pdiamond shield, preferably tower, 2x whatever rare fcr rings you find along the way, hotspurs if you can get them, rare boots if you can't
15-20 teleport and 20 into primary skill + 20 cold mastery are the minimum to be able to rush, 1 point into static + nova, maybe 1 mastery, is enough to kill toorc. Its almost always faster to either ignore, facetank, lure away or remake a game for cold immune a2 monsters inside the viper altar or the tomb, but if its just a handful its helpful to have ~5-7 firewall / 1 mastery to be able to kill them with static (even 1 point firewall fully disables monster regeneration, damage on top of that speeds up the kill).
you should be able to clear like 75% of rushes without even using firewall a single time, but its a nice thing to have available.
frozen orb is better for clearing some chaff in norm/nm faster, while blizzard is arguably better at doing hell council, but either skill will do everything at a reasonable pace.

edit: for those who dont know: you can static to 1 hp, even in hell

static is a pre-skill for nova so it's included, but yes static is very important and some argue it's even worth putting some points in for the range

thats what i meant, i usually put 5-10 into static for the extra range, just good quality of life and when you run static i dont put any points into nova but smack em with my shard
