Hey hey, so I've been reading around that if you equip a broken off-hand that it makes the other weapon hit faster.
I've also read that there's a glitch that's been present since the strength bug was fixed where you can't equip different dual wielded weapons if the stats to do so are provided from your charms. You visually can, but it causes problems damage wise. Supposedly the devs have been aware of this for around a month, but this is just different reddit posts claiming one thing and no sources for me to find out for sure. It is however preventing me from noticing any kind of a difference while using a oath balrog blade and a broken gul dagger.
I haven't been able to test any of this myself because I don't have any respecs on my barb and am using a torch and oath in an eth balrog blade.
Does the broken off hand just cause the main hand to hit twice? Or is it causing it to do more damage than that?
And now that we know ias caps are removed, do we know if the fanat aura from beast is causing WW to do even more damage?
Is it at all possible to compare these two things if the broken off hand makes it do more damage than normal dual wielding, and if beast's fanat is increasing ww's ias past what used to be possible? ie does anyone have data?
edit: again I do not have tests I've done myself and these are things I've read online. Please please please take it with a grain of salt, as I'm not confident myself in the info having not seen it first hand..
