Opening two battle net apps with two seperate accounts with beta access doesn't work. (says already playing for both as soon as one is opened.)

Sandboxie doesn't work with the beta. Or at least I can't get it to work.

VM would work of course, but isn't ideal.

Anyone know of a way to do this without using a VM?

why do you need to run two instances there are 3 shared stash tabs lol

I want to multibox on hardcore for the challenge, something I once enjoyed a lot on d2 classic. I can multibox two instances atm on two seperate machines, but I prefer running at least three characters.

For example it's possible to multibox on D3, and I would if it wasn't for the fact that D3 is a shit game.

As you can see, that is how far I have gotten.

I can almost join a game on the second instance, I even ' appear' ingame on the other instance. But always not responding/black screen. :(




Really hope its just beta build stuff.

Not yet.

This is as far as Ive gotten, dualboxing on two seperate PC's using Autohotkey + Input Director

But no luck on getting a second instance on the same PC to work (works all the way up to trying to join a game). VM might be the only solution for this... I don't really like using VM's though, pain to set up with 3d acceleration, etc.

I am also still hopeful it is just a beta build thing, and perhaps at launch it will be easy to start two clients on one PC.

I think the problem is there isn't a log in screen in D2R Beta. You can "multibox" on D3 because there was a sign in screen so you can log onto a different bnet accounts. Hopefully, they add a login screen at launch other wise I will need to get some refunds haha.

If you know a way to shell the second user in a window on the first user, and not having to go to winlogon every time you change , I'm all for it.

It doesn't quite work my multibox purposes.
