I mean if you want lowest possible damage you can look for a damaged/cracked polearm/spear of normal base, I forgot scythe gets 5 soc depending on where it drops, but any “normal” non eth base should be fine

Do you agree I may as well use a non-eth normal wep?

as thorns does do a percentage of damage back to the target, which is basically unnecessary damage my merc has to take

Yea just make it in normal polearm/spear and then you can use it on a self-wielding infinity lite sorc as well

no intention of making a nova sorc

would the counter argument be that low to little damage = not enough life leech?

I think either way my merc is going to die if I'm not quick to teleport him back

Yes low physical dmg = low life leech

think I'll just leave it then, and just tele him away, not going to have life tap charges anywhere either

I have an infinity eth ghost spear on my java’s merc

Thorns herald is usually ok.. i can heal him with just health potions

But thorns + amp heralds are the ones that pwns him hard… gotta tele and full rejuv a lot. It also rekts my zon when i use CS
