Do I still want to stack -enemy cold res on gear/sunder even though skill "cold mastery" nerfs enemy res?
Or I just go with + cold damage?

honestly dont know lol cold immunes still have some resistance to cold after imunity is removed so yeah

any ways i have a +5 bliz +5 cold mastery sorc orb if interested

PVP - res is usually better

PVM can go with + cold dmg

As it seems that cold mastery doesn't affect broken immunity.

infinity still better for cold immune monster but not necessary okay to use if you have one. otherwise insight works fine

infinity isn't really needed on pvm cold sorc.

I have been enjoying a base cold mastery build with doom + nightwings, rest of points are into +dmg synergies for blizz or tk so I can run some es. Does appear to kill faster than fathom vs cold immunes, with almost as good clear speed vs regular enemies. The -res from doom isn't reduced like infinity and cold mastery are vs sundered immunes, so stack this with a facet or new cold jewel in your nightwings and you are good to go. Come to think of it, I usually run vmagi but blizz ormus would probably be bis now, in pvm anyway.

More -res on items will help kill cold immunes quicker

While +dmg helps kill non-immunes faster

with cold immunes and sunder, your -res is worth 1/5th its usual power. so -res is always valuable. and for blizzer its definately needed on more than just skill.
