% damage does like nothing, its like +1 lightning mastery

-res is better on pretty much any build, maybe except blizz sorc

and fhr mana and mf in this case

attributes sucks, its just 16 flat mana from energy that doesnt scale and 16 normal mana, which is a small charm. just get fhr

Even at that I’ve found a -10 sunder to be more effective than a 15% sunder on my blizz sorc. I think -res sunders are just better all around.

i guess it depends, with doom you have a lot of -res already, can probably get the 15% dmg in that case

i think what Stef said above is correct.
im late to start this ladder, but i will be testing this. i think the -% sunder will be better with fathom, and +% sunder will be better if using doom. im going the doom route first.

but for any lightning spec sorc, the -% sunder is best. and as secondary, i would think fhr is best for nova given the close range

I've had AI tell me + damage is better until I ask if negative damage is calculated is multiplicatively and it self corrects.

I thought the only one where +damage is better is for cold sorcs, but I believe it's because they also have that talent that lets them get to -100 or whatever it is, so I'm very interested in your feedback coming from a blizz sorc.

Depends on how much cold damage increase you have, and if you're struggling against cold immunes or not. %damage is usually better for cold sorc.
Do you have a 15.5k damage blizzard?
