Curious what everyone’s preference is on PvP builds, do you focus your time and resources on a single godly character or do you go with multiple characters equipped with average gear. In many cases perfect gear doesn’t provide much additional benefit and can cost 10x that of none perfect gear. The same goes for character level, you can level a dozen characters to 90+ in the time it takes to get one character to get to 99.

i do multiple characters with mid gear at low level but you have to be skilled

if noob focus on one character / your favorite first before hopping to a new one imo

LvL 99 chars are more like for autistic players who make those Zeal vs Zeal or Barb vs Barb duels.

depends what you call average. i like to get 9x40 lifers and paying 1k-2k max per "expensive" piece (circlet, amu, ring), keeps the price down while still approaching optimal performance. for example i bought a 1/20/30/2 circlet for nvd because they're literally 10x cheaper than 2/20/30/2 lol

got a shared tab with 10x all types of 20/11s (except 20/10s lr lol) and 20/4s

cba leveling past 90 too. fuck baalruns seriously

If you are fast at switching character mid fight then it's like going to the battle with infinite counter strategies. It's like thanos with 5 infinity stones.

Interesting posts. In legacy D2 I went quantity with multiple accounts full of different PvP builds. But for D2R I picked my favorite build from back then and went all in on perfect gear and am soon to hit level 99 which is a first for me.

Voted second but I personally always go for 95-99 still

No pvp char under 95 imo, just feels like it’s not worth getting 40 lifers on anything under

Even my bow throw melee firewall multishot sorc is level 97

skill always trumps gear hit ur bps ect and practice. playing multiple chars also helps u understand matchups better knowledge is powa!

depends on which type of pvp you're doing.
