ok, so my dumbass just lost my p8 96tz amp concentration super op lister b/c I got sniped by an archer trying to fight ppl and farm heralds at the same time. won't do that again.

lister is a pia to bind since patch, so I want to try the legendary spearwoman with jab. What location gives the best variant? I can't bind a herald, can I?

Are there any other demons that we might be overlooking? Something with scaling physical aoe? Don't think such exists yet, but jab is kind of close ig. A fend demon would be interesting.

It has to be an act 5 variant for jab. There are only two variants, one is lightning immune and uses MonPowerStrike / Jab / Attack, one is cold immune and uses MonIceSpear / Jab / Attack. Oddly, they are completely identical in all stats including being lightning immune, which is likely a programmer oversight and they intended the cold spear variant to be cold immune, but copy/pasted all the parameters. So both the act 5 variants are 25/100/50/15 resist, 33% dr, 0% mr, same damage, same hp, etc. Just TZ makes them stronger. I guess technically the cold spear variant might be nicer? They both just add elemental damage and % ar to attacks, and cold damage slows.

Oddly enough, there does not seem to be many elite packs in Ancients way. If I find a cursed game, I may just grab a normal one assuming it actually procs. I know some demons cannot proc amp no matter what.

spearwoman isn't as good as lister imo, at least for heralds. she has some nice bits about her, like how she will run to protect you if an enemy sneaks up on you, but she loves running to and from different targets while lister would facetank 100% and stun while doing so, which is excellent vs heralds when combined with rancor. she is also extremely fragile vs certain groups, and the dps seems lower too.

going to play with her more but it feels like she is going to die sooner than later, and I don't feel as comfortable telestomping herald and elite packs like I was doing before. might try either an elite urdar or maybe a vile mother or something fun like bishobish

Lister pushes flying monsters off the track! I'm sure I lost many jahs to that lol.

now, she is really good for snakes and sirens, chasing down mobile enemies that scatter, but she plays and lends herself to a completely different playstyle than lister does. she isn't nearly as good vs heralds however.

Is there a site somewhere that documents each monster types fpa, nextdelay, dps, and available skills? diablowiki seems lacking.



She has fana while my lister had conc. Perhaps this is why the dmg difference. Don't think it would be that much less as it appears vs heralds though, if anything it would be more with the speed bonus.

One thing I noticed about lister is that his attacks seemed to have gigantic freaking range. I don't know what the rangeadder for his attacks is, or any monsters for that matter, but visually it looked like rangeadder +4 if not higher. His attacks are very fast with a very fast action frame it looks like too.
