Guys i cannot bind Hephaisto (he's gone when i try to summon goatman to consume him), my dmg is so low now

My Hephasto is still bound without 20 hard points into the skill. He lost his conviction aura, now it is fanaticism, but he still doesn’t take any damage as far as I can see. P1.

I assume that this is a glitch and I will have to respec to 20 hard points to re-bind a super-unique. I did lose my third summon however with only 7 hard points in mastery.
