So today, instead of entering a P3 game and just popping all crystals, I decided to clear the current TZ until I was on T2 or higher.
Took a few games but it happened and then I start on A5 and worked backward so that the defilers could help me build up some additional heralds.

Spawned 22 Heralds for the game. Not bad - no sunder and all junk drops but still.
I think the next patch makes all enemies in a TZ have the 2% chance to draw the ire of a herald so it may not matter later but it was fun to see good results.

I think 22 is pretty high, is that about normal?

For such an anomaly, it is below the normal distribution. And that means, it's always (not even a debate) user error.

you realize it’s called a distribution because it’s distributed and not all the same right. Unless rand.nextInt generated with a slew of successive bad seeds I’m just that guy in the skinniest part of 2.13 unfortunately

From 50 games, I don't think so.
Unless you have the same game instance (seed) and do exactly the same thing, same pattern like a bot lmao for underwhelming results.

Really? That's a lot. I've been joining Mike_0531's runs the last few days. I know we had one game where I'd say there could have been 20. One of them, I think we had like 7 or 8. I thought my 22 would be pretty above average but I guess not. Thanks for the info! May not be worth doing all of the upfront runs if that's the case.



I would say we were getting 10-15 when I ran with Mike. Other than the one very pitiful run.

Anyone else wanna throw out what they think they're averaging? I'm curious to know if this actually helped or not. Can't actually answer it with the amount of RNG but I'm still curious
