I tried to make a private game on Switch 2 this morning, and got the “failed to join game” message. I tried several more times. Tried joining a public game (I can see games in the public list.) Tried switching characters, closing and restarting the game, restarting the console, rebooting my internet, all unsuccessful.

I moved over to Switch 1, hotspotting from my phone, and was able to start and play one private game. Tried again 20 minutes later, and now I have the same “failed to join game” problem on Switch 1. I have tried on and off for the past two hours with no change.

Any thoughts on what else I could try?

How would I have managed a ban? I don’t do anything to cause any problems.

Happens to everyone randomly sometimes, weird bot detection (even if you're legit.)

Just wait a few hours and it'll be fixed.
