I haven't played in a few years.

Now that i am playing again, the game just seems a lot easier. I don't have ubergear at all,but there seems to be no danger in the game to my HC sorc.
In my memory teleporting for hell baal runs always had an element of risk in it. Doesn't seem to be the case anymore now. I also almost never see any mobs with conviction aura anymore. (the main danger to my sorc)
Feels like they nerfed the mobs' modifiers or something. No more or much less conviction, no more or less extra strong extras fast fanaticism.

Or am i imagining things ?

D2r or good d2? It's been a while since i was in hell on hardcore on old d2. Two-three ladders ago. This next one will be different, i'll take check on it then.

I have all updates. So i its D2rotw in highres. (is it even possible to have rotw without remastered?)

I don't know i don't think so ................ but it would not surprise me. You know how it is. They always dumb things down. And that's why i don't jump on the bandwagon. I like the old experience to stay the same.

But i have one experience, made a threat about it few years ago, that i never read about anytime or anywhere.

I was doing assassin for the first time, trap. I was getting to hell mode. Laying down traps all the time, since i didn't doo that much damage, i was rushing. I noticed, no boss monster packs. Almost none. Was just pacing along, act through act. I made a thread about it. People said since the traps act as minions, that makes the game remove boss monsters. I think that's how it was.

I did barb next season then. You don't have minions with barbs. It went well, smashed through everything with a bonesnap and conentrate, and lucky with drops. Now i was rushing along. And boss monster packs everywhere. Not joking.

There may be some mechanics to the game that people don't inherently share. You may be having "lucky" streaks... you don't use minions as sorc though, so that can't happen. Maybe someone else have the same experience.
