Hi all,

I'm sure the subjet was debated here many times but After a search for a CTA pretty all was in CS

I have a Military Pick with 5 soc... and I wonder if i put a CTA inside ... is there a chance that the value of the item could be impacted by the base vs a flail or a CS ?

For what I see the requirements or other the Military Pick is at least as good compare to CS (except dura) maybe the cost for repair ... but you are not supposed to use it as a weaon .. so

It can impact the value of it for sure. but since the requirements are so low, it'll only really effect the value of it if it rolls really high/perfect, since the people that want perfect rolls want certain bases for aesthetic reasons. And that can both increase or decrease the value of it depending on if someone really wants the base you have for it or not. lol

Most people are happy with either just rolling their own, or grabbing the cheapest they can find just so they have one. so if it rolls low/mid, the price won't really be any different from any other base unless you make it in something like a phase blade that needs a lot of point investment in Dex to equip lol

Szepters with useful skills are great. War axes look good and can be easily distinguished from main weapons.

I know imagine i roll a perfect CTA in a Military Pick ... and because of the base decrease the value .. shouldn't be the best idea!

the scepters coud be a bonus for paladin exclusively. Concencerning the estetic matter, I believe CS or Flail or eve Military Pick should be distinguished form other weapons ... except for hoto
