What Say Duriel ?

Im old player, i perfectly remember he say (Are you looking for me?!)

in d2r for sure he say (Looking for Baal)

I haven't tried yet to verify by myself on original d2 lod (original cd) what he say, but im sure at 100% he say (Are you looking for me?!)

and im sure a lot ppl remember this like me.

I'm just wondering if anyone else (like me) clearly remembers that Duriel never said the phrase "you're looking for Baal," but remembers him saying "you're looking for me."

I remember exactly what he said, and I wanted to know if anyone else remembers it as well as I do.

why would duriel say looking for me?

It's definitely more accurate to say 'you're looking for Baal' for the story of Diablo 2. The point is another, I (and I'm sure many others) remember that he didn't say that, he said: 'Are you looking for me?'. That was his phrase.

I played the game off the discs without internet for like a year or so when i first started this game..

As far as i know, Duriel has always said "Looking for Baal?". Since Baal was sealed in that tomb, but he's no longer there, while Duriel is.

I'm 36 years old, and as I've been saying, I also played d2 on CD when I was very young. And I remember him saying that... that's why I wrote this post, to see if other people remember it as I do. I think it's the Mandela Effect.

or you were 10 years old, didnt really track the story, the expansion wasnt out yet,
and you had never heard of "baal" so your brain filled in what you thought you were hearing,
so you remembered what you thought you heard because that was your memory of it.
