I played D2:LoD back in the day. I was playing less/starting to get out of the game when selling SoJs to spawn Uberdiablo was new.

If your memory is reliable, then you haven't played since around 2003-2004 (late 03 is when they added diablo clone).

So much has changed since then it's impossible to answer in one post. You're better off saying what kinda class you wanna play and we can give you current meta builds.

True, lol. I started playing bnet the ladder before torch went live, seems like ages ago. I remember infinity getting added, was crazy.

You’ll be happy to know the portal barb is still around and kicking just with some different tech used (recent patch) to get the same bportal effects

I don't think I was even born yet, but luckily all of this information has been archived very well over the years, so you can reliably see when a vast majority of things were added and the date they were added.

Also, another thing besides hellfire torches is the changes to how rushes are done and the orb in travical needs to be broken to progress past act 3, instead of just talking to Cain.

Another thing that changed is how we level, it would be worth it for him to look up a current leveling guide since the old way to level is extremely outdated and no longer viable or any good.
