I wouldn’t recommend. I tried this once on hardcore and ripped my level 3 paladin before I even got one kill.

I use the most OP item at low levels: javelin poke or throw. Range 3, 1-2 shots everything from a safe distance.

You messed up, see you were supposed to be using a lvl 80+ bo barb. How else can you play hardcore? It just doesn't make any sense any other way.
