What if we could cube runes DOWN, not just up?
I ran into a situation where I needed IO runes, but I only had LUM.
And I really did not want to waste a HELs just to solve that.
So I was thinking about a down-cubing system.
My idea:
1 higher rune + gem* = 2 lower runes
You spent 3 runes to get the higher rune, and there could be a penalty when you want to turn it back.
Examples:
1 ELD + gem* = 2 EL
1 LUM + gem* = 2 IO
..
1 PUL + gem* = 2 LEM
may be up to only PUL, due to the ratio 3:1 → 2:1:
Would this be a good QoL change?
