I geared a zerker some time ago and every time I play it my merc just dies constantly.

It's using andys, e stone and e insight. Is there some trick to keeping it alive or is the merc constantly dying just normal for running trav on a zerker?

Lifesteal works wonders. Ebotd/Coh/whatever helm. Can pull 30% easily and as long as he has something to hit he stays alive.

I run a 3os/ll with Cham+ias/fire res jewel to stack for Conviction. Never dies unless I zone out and let him get stuck on a phys immune, even in tz.

So is the andys just not enough leech?

I'm sure others have their own solution, like GA/Cot, but mine works very well for what I need it to do. Think hes died once in a few hundred runs and it was because I didn't notice him stuck on a phys immune.

I used ETH BOTD Warpike, Kiras and Guardian angel for my trav barb when i made one myself. it's a bit expensive for a trav barb though.

Honestly, you're probably being hurt the most by that -30% Fire res from Andys. Most of the damage in trav is fire damage. swap to a 12% LL Crown of Thieves and he'd probably survive a lot better.

Not to be that guy, but doesn't Kiras have CBF built in and the Cham is redundant?

yeah, i just thought of CBF ANd went "Needs cham" i just used an IAS Jewel xD Lmfao. too late at night for me.
