returned to d2 after 13 years and started building a lighting sorc... even tho most items are BiS (lv90, infi merc, griffons, hoto, 2x soj, etc), I noticeably lack dmg in full parties...especially cows and chaos runs are absolutely no fun while others just rush through. is that normal for a light sorc?

not normal for lit sorc, whats your damage?

most people run nova sorc these days but lit sorc is still good

also if you're comparing yourself to a warlock dmg, don't - cause almost everything clears slower than a warlock

well ok, I truly was comparing my sorc to the warlocks running around in chaos runs

yeah thats the problem, lol

nothing really compares to a warlock right now aside from like javazon imo

warlock is pretty much everything in one,

it can clear everything in p8 easily, with mid gear

it gets great life per level, easy break points, insane damage for all 3 skill trees, a completely free mercenary with bind demon that literally never dies, i didn't even see mine take damage even in the "toughest" of situations + that bind demon also gets free aura like fanat, conviction, or might

it can solo both uber trist and uber ancients with zero struggle and will also wipe clone with ease

i had no issue doing t5 heralds, ubers, p8 clears, etc on my warlock and it was just barely above budget gear

enjoy it while you can cause i don't see how it doesn't get nerfed eventually, it's completely broken imo
