Is the reddit Diablo 2 community really bigger than the d2jsp community?
I consistently see 10k+ online on jsp daily it seems, but I guess not everyone is playing d2r, but if reddit only has 100k total members....

Reddit sucks in general though. So much misinformation and fake crap being posted there every day. 4-5 months ago I saw a post with many updoots saying you can "repair an ethereal item by personlizating it at Anya", which has been a terrible fake wives tale sense like 2002 at least and has never been true. Then when you tell them it's fake, they'll argue and say, "no it works I've done it" or "It used to work then in an older patch".

People who are banished there are just people who are banned from this site I'd imagine, because why would you ever willingly use that crap?

Yes, I unfortunately was a regular on that site in like 2011/2012 before it turned into a group hug, back when there were subreddits dedicated to making fun of fat people and it was decent.

Nothing good on that site anymore.

Le epic reddit wasn't aware of crypto currency back then, let's not even kid ourselves. Anyone with a brain probably left even before I joined.

I did use BTC back then, but definitely not for anything like that + I invested in gold instead!

Real epic redditors and their infinite wisdom probably are mega super geniuses with a billion dollars and that's why they post about Donald Trump all day.

i would stop into reddit from time to time usually i was doing a web search trying to find an answer but would usually find it on stackoverflow so reddit was not useful to me. reddit and imgur are hateful communities where the "they/them" gather and it should be avoided when ever possible. reddit and the user stats are usually inflated and completely full of shit you cant trust anything on that site since there is no way to prove it.

the truth is more then one website exists for video game trading. the steam community has this, discord has something similar, reddit has a user pool i have not seen a currency for trading, a few other sites exist and not as large but they use crypto. so the game trade environment has changed because more sites now exist and there is ways to accept payment out of the game but mainly in crypto or paypal. while jsp has forum gold it cannot be used off of the site so i do prefer cypto when ever possible instead of forum gold especially if i am trading for high end items like 08's or hybrids.

so could reddit actually have more members then jsp? i would say its 70% possible and ill include 30% doubt because the numbers could be inflated.

for jsp it says on the front page it has: Total Members: 1,217,135 but does not post what % of those accounts are active. so i cant determine if jsp has more members or reddit i just dont know.

reddits a socialist fan club, but the reason for the djsp hate is because a lot of people remember when this was a bot building and support site way back in the early years.

I just got banned from this sub from linking a very helpful post from here. Immediately taken down and banned. No reason given.

Its just full of solo single player PvM casuals that want /p8 online. People dont know that that endgame in D2 is PvP. Enigma was born from it.

There is some of the most useful and helpful information on jsp. Makes no sense.
