Making more builds I never made before
Topic - Hydra/chant Sorc
The change in D2r made hydras spawn without a cooldown reduction like Frozen orb and meteor, from a video I saw on Youtube.
My question is do i need infinity?
will be using flame sunder + flickering flame
I want to try a Hydra/enchant build since hydra synergies are only a measily 3%.
20 hydra, fire mastery, fireball, enchant, warmth
1 static, tele, firebolt
Hydras estimated dmg is 2k
Enchant estimated dmg is 2k
Frozen orb was fun with max cold mastery but I want to try hydra now for spamming it behind walls and murdering spirits. Currently with frozen orb, you have to run into line of fire of spirits and go back behind wall. With Hydra we could just cast them behind a wall in line of sight and they will shoot and clear the area in theory.
Thoughts?

Now if i give merc a flickering flame, that will increase his dmg with chant as well sound kinda yummy.

Flickering flame will also cover the fire resists needed from using sunder, allowing more mf charms to be added to inventory.

Flickering flame with also cover merc against conviction council in trav and baal minions which i kill every game mmmm.
