Does it help a ton to have an infinity on cold sorc?

I don't really need it it, but I'm doing free rushes P8 in hell and if it will speed them up, I can do more.

I have a sunder and mana is not a problem for teleing etc.

I've seen people arguing both sides.

Any info or experiences would be great.

if you want to know the exact numbers behind it, lvl 12 conviction gives -85% enemy res which is then applied at 1/5th effectiveness to immune monsters which is -17%

will it help? sure it might but it depends what you're sacrificing instead to use it

most ppl find the juice isn't worth the squeeze

Imo insight is way better for cold sorc. Infinity gives -17% cold res on immunes

Infinity is basically useless on cold sorc unless you're bm pvping trying to squeeze out that little bit of extra damage.

Well you’re giving up crap merc dmg with infinite mana

For good merc dmg with crushing blow and -17% cold res and -90ish %monster defense with near infinite mana when using sojs

Sounds like a good deal to me
