I wanted to know how Poison nova necro does against Herolds?

definitely not great imo, you can find yourself held up for a little while on the higher tiers.


I still love clearing acts with my poison necro though, and heralds spawn with a big entourage so its easy to get them inside many CE's

Is it just me or is the poison necro a very slow build that actually relies on corpse explosion to make up for slowness?
Or have I always built him wrong / seen bad builds only?

Is Hammerdin or Fohdin doing better you got any infos about that ?

hammerdin better than fohdin due to the abundance of animal heralds. hammerdin also better than poison necro

depends on what youre trying to do, psn necro shreds hammerdin for density but hammerdin is a much better elite sniper, more versatilre overall. Like in a cow game, psn over hammerdin isnt even a discussion imo but bring in looser groupings of enemies, hammerdin gonna be much better/smoother

fohdin is amazing if all you want to do is CS

But for me, psn necro is a beautiful sweetspot where you get the density clearing to rival a javzon, and the mobility of paladin cast frames.

its also just extremely satisgying set em up/knock em down gameplay: LR curse then apply poison, then once some bodies drop you amp and start CE. Many areas of the game you can essentially jsut march forward and chain CE. it almost feels like a zerg "creep" mechanic, that youre tyring to create like a constant spread of corpses

Just try poison necro against diablo, the normal one, not even terror zone or players 8

Poison Necro has always been the worst against bosses. T4-T5 Heralds are extremely stronger than a basic Diablo / Baal imo. So yeah not a boss killer and never was

dont get me wrong im not saying my psn necro CANT kill heralds- its just that they dont kill them particularly efficiently. Single target dps is not the strength of the build. You can absolutly down them it just might cost you a minute or two. And again, the density clearing is so efficient that if youre trying to clear an act, hes still a great choice IMO.
