p8/8 means 8 players in game, all partied together
and in range of the kill so they share experience as it dies.
Having 8 players in game reduces the nodrop rate to 14.29% even if the other 7 players are sitting afk in town act 1
But to get that 1.64% nodrop rate you need all 8 players clustered around every kill, which is prohibitive for obvious reasons
And the difference between 1 player game and 8 player game is 128.56% more items, but the difference between 7 player game and p8/8 is only 14.76% more items
hence its not worth it to farm P8/8 under normal circumstances, but P8 is far easier to achieve (and you don't split the 450% experience)
Ty, If someone confirms this. My strategy is to kill until Ire, then teleport around not killing until herald spawns.
Then back track and kill to draw Ire again.
Need someone to confirm this theory.
Yes, but you must be opening new unexplored map cells, and in doing so you will spawn additional elites and should use them to draw ire
But at the same time, drawing ire twice in a row can mean spawning 2 heralds in a row before the first is killed, which results in 'wasting' the upgrade to the next herald tier
Hence it being very annoying
If you have full control over the game, you can designate certain areas to be unexplored and revealed only once you've drawn herald, so you can methodically teleport it in a lawnmower pattern, only using that area with ire active.
