Which side pays for the bumper the grusher or the grushee?
How much can a bumper make?
Is it worth it to just have a few in reserve, delete remake?

Lastly it is really quick to level from 38 to 40 in late nightmare. Does the bumper need to be 40? 38-40 takes so long in normal.

for your last point the bumper just needs to be the level for that difficulty, 20 for normal, 40 for nm, 60 for hell. So yes they can level to 40 while in nm, they just cant do nm -> hell before that.

Gotcha, would being 38 make people not want to pay for a bumper? Is it necessary to get to 40 for that?

You cant bump if you are not level 40. Normal ancients requires level 20, nightmare requires level 40.

I was just wondering if a side quest of like nm chaos sanc or something would make up the missing 2 levels or if I had to get to 40 before

If you are bumping from nm to hell you need to be level 40. If you are bumping from normal to nightmare you only need to be level 20

If you can reliably find people needing them it’s probably good for some pocket change, doesn’t take long at all to get to 20/40

This is the run down of D2 online.

You can make a normal toon 1-40 without doing the baal quest on NORMAL ONLY. (Grush is Normal-Hell Act5)

If you spend the time to get to lvl60, you could also grush to complete hell difficulty. Before D2R we had difficulty titles. (Slayer/Normal, Champion/Nightmare, Patriarch/Hell)

What the bumper does is save their normal baal quest for Grush leechers.

Since they are lvl40, nightmare ancients can be completed and then a hell rush is completed last.

The standard rate was the price of 1 leecher spot. However nowadays I only see people offering a free Grush and not paying the bumper. Total dbags.

This used to be a common service when D2 community was really booming.

in Non-ROTW it is impossible to even start Grushes regularly.

In ROTW it seems people mostly wanted to Grush the new class. Even though I dont play ROTW, I browse the forum for that version and it seems that Grushes are still not common overall.

I would find this as a uncommon way to make fg in its current state. (I wouldnt bother saving bumpers if you wanted to play that build soon) Not many people are making new toons anymore AND rushers are greedy not paying bumpers.
