I haven’t played since original LoD. Just getting back into it and remembering the magic immunes in late game. Is a sunder charm worth it? Does it break the immunity so I at least do some damage instead of relying on merc?

you need -magic resistance from gear or it is a big pain in the ass. new sunders and some items have it now (-mres)

get 2 sling rings the new gheed belt and hellwarden will helmet sox with that new uniq jewel that do magic%/-% + that renewed magic sunder and you are good to go

if you get the lastest BiS gear magic sunder is worth it. You can efficiently kill magic immunes on P8 with hammers since there's enough -magic resist now

I appreciate the info everyone! Baal wave 2 isn’t horrible, merc handles them pretty quick but I’ve had it where my terror zone is worldstone. And it was nothing but magic immunes where the herald spawned. Merc couldn’t do it and I had to give up on it.
