Hey guys, is d2r and the new expansion playing completely seperately(I mean ladders, being able to play together, etc.)? The game is essentially dead(multiplayer-wise) for the few who didn't buy the expansion? Thanks.

rotw is seperate from lod, and split into ladder and nonladder like lod was...

however, you can convert lod chars to rotw

Separated the same way Classic and LoD are separated.
You can convert from Classic -> LoD -> RotW but can't go back.
Can't play with your friend if you are not on the same version either.

about as dead as classic, which by the looks of it, has been dead for years.
Most players they get are when a crush starts.
