no, you can only put 1 uber jewel in any socketed item and can only equip 1 item with an uber jewel in it (and a 2nd on your merc) and can't socket uber jewels into items you have equipped if you already have one in your equipped gear

I don’t think so.

I believe it would be no different than a merc using infinity. The -res just applies to damage from the wearer
