Ok, so I've been experimenting a lot recently with various dragondin/auradin/tesladin/and the likes-variations, and especially with merc setups from a1 to a5, just so that I can keep the game interesting.
The pure dragondin is pretty powerful but after playing him for about a week, i switched to a dual dream+dragon/hoj for diversified damage, and also stylepoints, trying to stack 4-5 hoursa with the help of a merc. You can tell that Im bored with the game and just try to have fun somehow.
the big drawback (at least I thought so) of a dragondin would be, that he misses Enigma so has reduced mobility. But honestly - charging around, running mostly WSK, Tombs and the likes has been absolutely fine. Also, by charging I have the feeling that more often the pulse damage from the auras occurs (i might be wrong).
Then yesterday, I found in the tombs a unique sacred armor - it was unfortunately Templars Might, but it got me thinking about Tyraels, and how it never gets the deserverd attention, due to all the other amazing runewords.
But then it hit me - what if I make the lightning pendant to the Dragondin using Tyraels instead of Enigma? It does tick a lot of boxes: 20frw, cannot be frozen, resistances,..can be socketed with one of the new jewels for extra -ligh res, and opens a ring slot for one of the new rings with -light res...
This would mean : Crescent Moon, Ancient Jewel, Ring - would be adding massive negative light res -> more damage. I think i'll give it a go tonight.
Anybody tried something similar? What are other interesting builds for Tyraels might?
