Anyone know if Blade Warp cost durability for the weapon? Like it hits the target and causes damage?

Some people told me it will, but I killed a couple map with blade warp only (took me a while) and my weapon is still full durability so not too sure now

did pretty much 70-90 with the same ethereal obedience using bladewarp as main skill of travel and its still full dura. Some people lied to you i guess
