I just dropped this beauty

After checking variables in the internet, I see final defense to be maximum 381

Enhanced Defense is 169/170 but final defense is still max 381/381 , which makes it even cuter for my taste than it being 170

Does this happen with other items? or is it a Blizz mathing mistake?

Pure curiosity cuz iirc you can't have max final defense on an item if ed is not max

If the base defense is low, say under 100, a single % of ED may not increase the overall defense. With that said this shield should get another point or 2 of defense with that extra 1% ed. My guess is their notes are incorrect. Nice find.

If i remember right eth death cleaver has the same damage with 279% enhanced damage then with 280%

yea what Spartikis said makes sense, if base def is less than 100 then 1% is not gonna make it to 1def . I just havent played in 4 years and be rusty
