Can someone explain how Diablo ladder economics work?

Wouldnt inflation make things cost twice as much?

I guess I meant inflation of items, I don't know how to word it but.

After a few weeks, most people quit ladder or get bored, or they already hit 99 or geared their toon. So demand goes down. At the same time, supply explodes because everyone can suddenly MF efficiently, and bots are up and running

Larger supply of items less people playing as the ladder goes on as well

And here i am still waiting for jah runes to drop in price so i can make a Enigma

Supply vs demand, more people and new members selling their ber and jahs most who can afford already have enigmas etc etc. No one buys multiples because 4k for an enigma is wild and the prices go down.

Most gg items from before aren’t that needed anymore to do big on gayloc so things cheapen
