Aren’t drops shared? What’s the point of farming in a p8 with randos when they can just take the drops?

Some make their own p8

5 acts, 1 each.
For the last 3 players, maybe 1 BO 1 Chant and one full idle ?
I also wonder what the guy with A4 does after 10-15 min gameplay finishing clearing while dudes in the other acts arent even halfway through

You get about 15% higher droprate from being in players-8-party-8 than you do from players-8-party-1
Hence the games with 8 actual players in them (not bots / loaders) are set up for 8 players to split farm and do different areas
the most normal is to have one high level level grinding player reserve tombs and everyone else scrabble for the other zones

You want p7/1
Same as p8/1 for drops, but 50% less base hp

P8/8 is worse than p1/1

Split farming with friends on p3/1 or p5/1 is absolutely worth it already.

You either have loaders, or friends, or you play a horker barb on p1.

People do P8/1 for XP I think.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t play on p8
But op was asking specifically for drops
Some builds are pretty much min/maxed early 90s
Reaching 92 to gamble circs with extra gold, 95 for amys, in both case not all pvm players really care about those last few bits of xp while they could also mean that it takes longer to have a full game and also slightly slow your clear speed

P3/1 is the juicy increase that really makes a huge difference for drops. Kinda accessible to anyone who’s a decent human being able to make friends online.
P5/1 is still considerable.
The extra from p7/1 is minimal and not worth trying too hard if you can’t reliably fill it with loaders.

Or you go P2/2 with your GF/wife and... wait, who has a wife ?
