Hey all, thinking about building a horker on an alt acc to run behind me and horn everything.

Never done it before, what tips can you give me?

I know to stack MF and GF but what are the best mobs / zones to Hork?

For MF, if I have 3 people in my group but not in my area it doesn’t affect my no drop right? I need all three in the same area? If not what does having all 3 ppl in my area do exactly?

So you’re gonna kill with one, hork with the other?
The time required will be detrimental, and odds would be better just killing faster and multiple times with main.

An exception to this I could see being trav.

Following chaos runs is a good way to run hork.

I have a SCNL horker barb whose existence is tethered to Trav. Damage on main hand and mf on swap. A lot of people will stress the importance of fcr for speed. But I’ve found I prefer using high mf/ and or gold find on swap.
He’s got a 75% find item (max find potion for the synergy).
Make sure you have fire resist.
Your merc will probably die unless you’ve got guardian angel and that unique tiara with massive resists (I forget).
Even then.
When you hork your loot tables are the same as a p8 game.
It’s a lonely existence.
But a lucrative one.

is my budget horker. he still needs 4 ists for babas and some more mf on rings and will be over 700 MF on rotw ladder.

I usually have him in game for BO and pull him in only to hork 2+ packs for swift clears. good TZones like Pit, viper, tombs i'll bring him in multiple times. outside of that i just concentrate on clearing and finding the next grouping

also yeah if you want your merc to survive trav hydras you just put steelshade on him because fire sorb neutralizes hydras it ain't rocket science
