Others probably realized this already. But I noticed right before I ID'ED a unique ring it said in green letters somthuing to the effect of "elligable for chronical"
or somthing like that. The rings I found already like manhald and rings like that dont have that green text.

So if you dont ID the ones you know arent one of the new rings you could sell the unid unique rings unid to someone who doesnt realize it. I still ID them because it could be a soj which is still a good ring. I dont think people are buying packs of unid rings right now though. And its probably not worth the effort of doing it. Its just something I noticed after find a few unique rings around the same time. So i started to notice because one of them was a ravenfrost which i hadnt found yet during the warlock exp.
