Has anyone tested Guardian’s Thunder vs Lightning Facet on Mosaic Assassin?

On paper it looks like Guardian’s Thunder might actually be stronger than a 5/5 Lightning Facet, but I can’t really find any real testing or opinions about it.

For reference:

Lightning Facet (perfect):
• +5% lightning skill damage
• −5% enemy lightning resistance

Guardian’s Thunder can roll:
• +5–10% lightning skill damage
• −5–10% enemy lightning resistance
• adds lightning damage + some MF/XP bonuses. ()

So logically a 10/10 roll is basically like two facets in one socket (at least for the lightning modifiers).

Since Mosaic Assassin gets a lot of lightning damage from Phoenix Strike, I’m wondering if a high roll Guardian’s Thunder in something like Griffon’s or Shako would actually outperform a perfect facet.

But I can’t find any DPS tests or real build discussions about this yet.

Has anyone tested this in practice or done any calculations?

As a side note: charges 2&3 (nova and cb) from CoT and any charge from PS do not benefit from +ld. Focus on -lr. But yes -10lr is better than -5lr.

I also have a question. Is a 40ed jewel better than a 30ed jewel? Haven’t seen confirmation yet, gonna need someone to run some tests.
