Hi. i'm a returning player from before sunder charms were a thing... i am figuring out there was a an "old" sunder and a "new" sunder that was released this patch. Is there a difference on the name? if i was to buy a sunder charm now, how can i determine if it is a LoD vs RoTW version? any clarification on this will be appreciated.

Old just sunder. New ones are called latent as a base charm until “crafted” (basically upgraded but you can’t re roll the stats you get) which get called renewed.

Yep. Latent if you wanna roll one yourself. Renewed if you’re cool with whatever stats are showing bc it’s stuck like that.

Also i THINK all latent roll with the worst possible - res so don’t worry about trying to buy a -70 latent , the roll is gonna change when you upgrade it to a renewed

Latents can roll variable res ranges. When you upgrade them to renewed, they roll the best possible number. e.g., latent bone break rolls -10 to -20 increased physical damage received, while renewed rolls only -10.

Thank you for that correction! I was a bit confused when i saw people posting variable rolls but assumed they were mistaken based on something i read. Biggest takeaway is to not worry about whatever latent is showing bc you’re gonna upgrade it anyways
