Want to build a WW barb from my single player stash, dont have every option available

But wanted input on Horazon boots plus glove for this character.

30 ias, 10 cb, AR, good chunnk of dex, CBF, 40 frw, little fire damage between the 2 slots aint bad, forgoing either gores or war trav plus loh gloves. Lose a bunch of FR, and the demon damage bonus

But I like not having CBF coming from frost as it improves horking, that being said its not like I have GG melee rings to put in its place so. Not the biggest deal.

Anyway, any experienced babas want to weigh in on these 2 set pieces together for WW? thank you

primary reason to use horazon combo is extra 30% ias

barb doest have any IAS issues with grief/beast build

gores/trangs or rends combo are far superior

LoH + Gores is very superior
But yeah, this new combo is decent to get CbF rather than using a cham or raven
you don't need the ias tho, and you lose big dmg as you lose 350ed to demon and 5% CB, 15% DS



I don't think there is much pvp going on in single player

I mean if you do benefit from the ias and dext sure it's nice otherwise Draculs and gore and raven may be a better choice or loh and gore or hell if you absolutely need cbf but without cold damage you can just use the boots alone

no beast yet for me in single player, do have the grief though with a decent AS roll

you want 2x grief pb, beast is for pvp

The boots are solid if you need CBF and don’t have a Cham or an open socket to spare. Personally, I’d rather run a Gface with a Protector Stone and Horadrim boots than a Cham’d Gface with Gores.

Giant Skull also becomes an interesting option here with the 10% Crushing Blow, two open sockets, and the strength bonus. You can Cham and protector stone it. The knockback might sound annoying, but if I remember correctly it doesn’t really factor in when you’re Whirlwinding as a barb.

And don’t forget what Protector Stone brings. You’re getting minus enemy resistance, some debatable additional ED that might be bugged but still appears to add some damage, plus Magic Find, Gold Find, and extra experience. The Fade proc also goes off quite frequently, which is really helpful if your resistances aren’t maxed. That’s why I argue it’s worth fitting a Protector Stone somewhere in your gear, and most of the time the easiest place is the helm since people are usually running runeword weapons and armor.

I thought about making a beast instead of a 2nd grief because maybe my summon necro can benefit from it? Its hard to justify unsing a 2nd lo for only 1 character.

I am playing hardcore as well so currently just rocking the stormshield, maybe eventually ill feel tanky enough to go for a 2nd weapon
