Hi , looked at alot of guides , and i cant really understand why none has frost nova ( 10% cold damage to blizzard ) maxed out instead of glacial spike ( freeze lenght ) , i need max damage and dont really need crowd control , should i max of frost nova instead ?

and do i need maxed out cold mastery if i use a cold sunder ? thx alot

Frost nova is not a Synergy to Blizzard.

Frost Nova does not give synergy to Blizzard. Only Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, and Glacial Spike do.

Frost Nova gets dmg from hard points in blizzard, not the other way around.

You have to check what's written under Blizzard. "Blizzard receives bonuses from: Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, Glacial Spike."

Sunder breaks the immunity, but you will need cold mastery to bring the resistance down or you will do little dmg. Depends on your +skills if you need to max cm or not.
