In my opinion, the Smiter still takes the crown when it comes to budget Uber runs. It’s just hard to beat the consistency and low gear requirement.
I’m not completely sure how the new Warlock (Mirrored Blade) compares in the current patch though — curious to hear from anyone who’s tested it.
I’m not considering Assassin here since Mosaic can’t be built on ladder anymore, which changes things quite a bit.

nothing bears smith on a budget, doesn't even need lvl80, spec some into light res passive
gulli, duress, black, 4s diamond res shield, trang belt for cnbf, random ias gloves, random rings, whatever amulet (i like teleport charges for organs), infernos, lifetab charges weapon on swap, random life charms inventory, threashery fade prebuff, few full rejuvs

with that gear doing HC ubers with no issues (has a lvl26 barbbo tho), easy improvements with draculs gore highlord etc. but not really needed

I mean there’s a reason people have done Ubers on a smiter at lvl 17 or some shit

Summon necro needs only telestaff to reposition the urdars. 16k gold from Ormus in normal act 3. It doesn't get more budget than that.

I played budget frenzy myself at some stage who cleared uber quite easily. But super budget nothing beats a smiter when it comes to clear speed imo.

There are many topics in d2 that are debatable. This one isn’t one of those. It’s a smiter.
