With the new sunder charm and infinity?

Even without infinity or the new sunder charms, fire sorc clears very fast. I find solo p8 tzs pretty efficient for farming with 4pc tals + ff, which isnt an optimal setup and is budget friendly. Merc using insight/cure

Lightning and nova are better because the spells simply have better mechanics. Lightning projectiles move much faster than fireball and pierce through enemies. Nova has huge aoe and unbelievably strong static due to the range extending off screen

Fire is awesome, really nice.

Other sorcs are even better..

Fire is gg for telestomping tz elites and heralds. Fire single target damage is so high, you can melt P8 Baal rather easily with 1p hydras, meteor and fireball salvos. Nova is better as an area of effect skill. You don't have to aim.
On a budget 3 tal pieces including the orb + flickering flame are enough to kill dia clone.

Fireball sucks. Not only is the AoE small, it also explodes on the mob closest to you and not in the middle of the pack.
