Looking to make a blade sin with sentinel/blade fury and high damage/ar.

What are the best claws for this build? Does anyone have a guide? Haven’t played sin in 15+ years, so any help/guides for PvP are appreciated!

Best claws are Scissors Suwayyah GG fools rare with +5 blade fury with amp etc

Budget alternative is +3 base blade Scissors Suwayyah made into Plague

The vast majority of the damage on blade skills now comes from the skill damage component, rather than weapon base
ex you can have 1700 fury 1080 sentinel base damage, with +75% of your weapon base damage, added before it applies %ed from skills, stats, auras, equipment, etc
each +1 skills winds up equivalent to +53.3 avg base damage, a +5 blade fury claws with 40 base damage adds more than a 300 base damage eth rare cruel with +0 skills.

Claws are still useful because they can have +2 sin / +3 staffmods (usually just fury, since you can't get sentinel without cubing a rare), and they unlock the %ed/%ar/crit on claw mastery
a lacerator can deal more damage for fury from amp triggers but mutually exclusive against reapers merc and screws with trash mobs and minions
eth beast can do a decent replacement for claw mastery and have good trap laying speed but the loss of up to +5 skills really hurts it

eth plague is the go-to for being attainable and powerful, though sentinel can't spawn on any 3 socket bases let alone the high damage ones. A +3 blade fury eth elite claw isn't the easiest thing to get though

there are other kind of cheaper but less optimal choices. Headstriker gets you straight to 100% ds without crit, highlords or gores, but those aren't much opportunity cost to have anyway and you lose huge base damage and %ed. Lawbringer is another starter weapon that is 'okay' until you get a better choice

Is this still the best claw even without the amp if the claw had all other mods? What goes in the sockets LoLo?

Yes Lo Lo always. Never anything else no matter the claw for bladesin

laregely, you are just looking for blade fury skills and sockets for Lo runes.
Then you want fools for a better hit rate
then amp

with all that being said, the difference between the rare claw i said above and a common elite base 3 blade fury plague (which are extremely cheap) is extremely minimal. Meaning, the difference between the #1 claw and the #10th claw (directionally speaking), is extremely minimal.

What's your reasoning SW<GT?

number one, even if you decided that you wanted an eth claw for more weapon damage, Scissors Suwayyah isnt even the highest damage base, war fist was.
Number two, the damage weapon damage adds compared skill damage is minimal, especailly considering that if you did go with a 2sinskill 300ed fools 3bf eth 1os claw (or 450ed instead of 300/fools), you get more damage from Lo than the 300ed eth.
Number three, GT gives you faster trap laying speed which means you can lay blade sentinel faster

War fist for the unobtainable claw, gotcha.

Otherwise, SW due to 3 sockets necessary for Plague and trap laying speed with 1 second delay must be amazing, not to mention most of the time I'd use BoS over fade for general PvM.

Tbh, just get a runic with +3 blade fury, turn it into plague, and never look back

The difference between it and the perfect rare claw is extremely minimal
