Thanks for letting everyone know that it worked so we can feel even more confident about suggesting this fix to people who run into the same issue.

No he has the issue that's causing the mainhand to not work with a broken weapon thats not the same base due to charms in inventory allowing it to be equipped.

This whole thing is compounded by two bugs basically, he's confirming the dual wield bug is fixable.

Before adding strength from the torch, I tested it.

The attacks each time were with a off hand weapon, even though OATH was the primary weapon.

When I added the equivalent of strength from the torch, everything got fixed.

The torch was the only source of strength in the inventory, the strength from the rest of the items was working properly.

I ran into this issue myself while using a broken gull dagger and a BB oath. When I tried to use berserk I was doing pathetic damage. This issue shows its face with WW as well as berserk and presumably other skills. Knowing its the charms causing it is a good step to educating everyone.

We just aren't sure if using the same base as an offhand will allow charm stats to work still, and I've been busy with work and wasnt able to test it myself on a single player save, but that's not really something you have to worry about and someone else already tested it and confirmed it did. That was only 1 person tho.

I have charms giving me dex to use grief.

I have a broken horadric Malus 15 str 15 dex requirement (lvl 1 could use)

The ww bug is working for me this way.

oh what the hell? so you're saying that using a horadric malus is letting you bypass the stats from charms glitch?

I don't know if charms have anything to do with it at this point.

I am just stating the circumstances it is working for me.

I broke a crystal sword which also worked, prior to trying to style out with a malus from normal quest.

I do not know if there is a correlation between these bugs.

That would be rowdy if quest items bypassed this glitch entirely if you broke them.
