I'm definitely not going to untrack. Played SP a lot in LoD and this thread is great. Possible armor options depending on what you found: Smoke or Lionheart if you found the runes/bases and if not I used your exact inputs for same calc you're using and found: "Duriel's Shell Mephisto - mephisto (NM) Durance of Hate Level 3 1:526"

Rockstopper (NM Meph 1:848, Andy was better chances) can be a solid helm if you don't find gaze at speed you want. Even if Meph unlikely to drop Pul, chest behind Meph and his Trav are quite a bit better odds if I'm remembering NM math right.

Ah, but the Council spawn is right in front of the bridge, directly in my path. Adds time and danger but hey, you can't have it all! There is no way I'm giving up that Durance 2 map.

So after just 2 runs I realized that I was wasting a ton of time going to town for extra potions, needing both life and mana. So for now I think I'm better off to just slap on the upgraded Nightsmoke. It takes care of all mana issues, don't even need to keep mana pots in belt, plus it has 4 extra potion slots for hp pots. The extra lr/cr doesn't hurt either! I lose 30% mf, but the runs become more bearable and quicker too.

If you don't like watching long MF grinds, I'm giving you the chance to look away/untrack now! I figure I'll be here for a couple weeks. I'm not entirely sure everything I want off of NM Meph, but here are some things he can drop that I'm quite interested in:
Ribcracker
Raven Frost
Dwarf Star
Guillaume's Face
Gore Riders (super rare off nm meph though)
Vampire Gaze
String of Ears
Thundergod's Vigor
Pul rune (although hella rare from nm meph, around 1:6500)
Lem rune

Not really sure which armor or helm to go for when entering Hell... I figured gface or vamp gaze for helm though. Armor, I have no idea. May need the res from vmagi in the end. Guess I'll have to see what drops! Let me know if you can think of anything else I should be looking for. I will probably run NM Baal a bit to look for Laying of Hands before entering hell also.

I will not untracked, this is amazing to watch, I used to LLD with you alot but I haven’t been around for a few years.
I am amazed that you found viper! I haven’t found a single viper yet, except I did find a tals armour and vex in the last couple days(hardcore multiplayer). I am so excited for you to find a soj and other cool stuff!!

Tried starting one of my own, but for some reason the PrtScreen button won't work when I have the Alt key pressed down (to show items on ground). Any recommendations?

you could use a snipit, i also had this problem

thanks, managed to get it to work with a couple extra steps
blizzard sure did a terrible job with D2R

They did an amazing job with d2r.
Also you can change the setting to times or toggle in options to leave items on while not holding alt. You can just press the screenshot button.

No, they didn't. With old D2, you could simply hit the Print Screen button at any time and it'll automatically save a snapshot into your D2 folder.

That's just one issue among a great many other issues.
