I voted Paladin since you can easily solo the entire game on minimal gear, but I'm still thinking about going Necro summons/nova or good Ol Reliable Blizz sorc.

I dunno Hammer pala can do well early game with little gear if built right for certain zones. But yea nothing like sorc tele trapping Meph and doing andy ez.
