Ron: Curses and shrines has been split up into two different categories. One doesn't override the other anymore, neither does curse duration reduction count towards shrine durations
Alex: I'm on the fence, while different, it will also mean more deaths..and what if they stack more than 1?
Ron: Less death's, obvious they would not stack. It just means A Curse won't override EXP Shrine and Exp shrine wont overwrite AMP Curse as an example
Alex: That would be cool. I was thinking of PoE's implementation of adding +max curses affix (and hoping they don't go there).
Ron: New shrine has been added: Resistent - For 96 seconds you are unable to get cursed by monsters.
Alex: no, that's too strong, you can complete CS seal pop in less than 45 sec
Ron: Obvious you won't find one every game, Don't see this as being overpowered?
Alex: I'm confident in finding XP shrine every game. I was basing my logic on it'll spawn somewhere anyway. (Side note: I was sort of breaking even on XP between looking for one and not. In the end, with so much uptime from loading 8 chars, I gave it up bar checking 1 zone only)
PLAYERS VERSUS PLAYERS
Ron: In this new PVP mode Health Potions and Rejuvenation Potions is 0% effective.
Alex: but there are heal skills, rendering those classes suddenly op, so no
Ron: Wait you play PVP where people can use health potions?! What kinda BM is that.
Alex: I'm sure in tournaments they would be banned. I was thinking of random pub duels/bm hostile.
- If we treat PvP as a mode (e.g. enforced) it might work. In pvp games in general, healing is still allowed (health globes/boxes, potions from vendor), just very controlled.
- For me, Diablo has more of a wild west than pvp feature.
UBER DIABLO CHANGES
Ron: The Diablo clone event is no longer a region based event. Instead it's only per game based. New cube recipe added: 3 Standard of Heroes + 1 Stone of Jordan.
Alex: that would be cool
Alex: Historically, Anni was introduced before Uber Tristram, this implementation would be a chicken before egg topic. It makes sense to start with a +1 that also gives xp, so you can get better gears, then when you have gears, to get the +3.
Uber Diablo is now significantly stronger
Alex: Either 1st 2 together or nothing, stronger doesn't make sense when anni has just 1 skill vs torch 3
Ron: But dclone is ridiculously easy compared to "torch" ubers.
Alex: Agree. Unless they destroy CB mechanic, it won't change much. (and I really like CB as it is, vs not having it). I would add the spawns from uber tristram to DClone.
